I’ve been reading in the book of Ephesians this month and keep coming back to this verse in chapter 3: “By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading the good news.” (NLT)

November was another month of fun and adventure in the world of YOKE! It’s been exciting and encouraging to watch God continue to work through this ministry and I am grateful to be a part of it. Here are just a few of last month’s highlights:

  • Our club attendance so far this year is 528 students per week, representing a 23% increase over last year.
  • We had 292 students attend one of our two weekend camps last month, representing a 52% increase over spring camp.
  • Over the 2 camp weekends, 18 students responded to God working in their hearts, with 6 making first time decisions to follow Jesus.
  • We have 190 YOKE Folk serving this year, just 18 shy of our goal.

These numbers are encouraging, but the exciting thing for me is that each number represents a unique, often miraculous story of God’s grace and protection. This month’s newsletter will share some of those stories with you and I think you’ll be as excited as I am to be a part of YOKE.

Please help us spread the word about YOKE. As we look forward to a new semester, there are many opportunities to get plugged in. And please think of YOKE as you consider your year-end giving. On behalf of the entire YOKE family, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and God’s richest blessings in the new year. Thank you for being part of the team!
