The annual Jeff Jarnigan YOKE Golf Classic, presented by Home Federal Bank, will be held Friday, May 6th at the beautiful Three Ridges Golf Course in east Knox County. There will be shotgun starts at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm, with lunch served from 12:00 – 1:30 pm. The cost for the tournament is $100 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and range fees, use of the practice range and lunch. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well.

Jeff Jarnigan, Knoxville media personality and public address announcer for the Tennessee Volunteers, considers it an honor to headline the YOKE Golf Classic. After losing his father at the age of 12, Jeff benefitted from a mentoring relationship with YOKE Founder, John Coatney. “I support YOKE because YOKE changes kids’ lives,” says Jarnigan.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the ministries of YOKE, which connects middle school students to adult mentors through its programs in 26 schools across 5 counties in East Tennessee.

In addition to helping support the work of YOKE, golfers will have the opportunity to compete for prizes including passes to Dollywood, a basketball signed by UT Coach Rick Barnes, an Adidas Golf Bag, and tickets to the Tennessee Smokies. There are also prizes and gift cards from Bush’s Beans, Mayo Garden Center, Club Leconte, Aubrey’s, McAlister’s, the Knoxville Chocolate Company and many more. There will even be an opportunity to win a car with a hole-in-one.

There is still space to register in both the morning and afternoon flights. Get your foursome together or sign up on your own at www.yokeyouth.com/golf. For more information, call (865) 522-6907.
