Last month we shared with you that our annual giving was down by nearly $60,000 this year. An anonymous donor who is committed to YOKE’s mission offered to help make up that amount by committing to match every dollar donated to YOKE last month, up to a total of $25,000. We’re grateful to report that $13,645 has come in over the last two weeks! Additionally, the original donor has decided to meet his original commitment of $25,000 resulting in a total of more than $38,000 in donations.
The annual YOKE Golf Classic was rescheduled for this month. The event will be held on Friday, July 17 at Three Ridges Golf Course. We’re hopeful that income from the tournament will also help close the gap in this year’s budget. For more information on the golf tournament and how you can be involved, visit our tournament page.
Our ministry continues to evolve as we adapt to the ever changing challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. Know that we are doing our best to connect in a safe way with YOKE kids, striving to encourage our leaders, and working hard to enrich our local schools in this challenging environment. Thank you for your prayers and your generous financial support!
