18 teams braved the wind and rain to compete for this year’s title. Top honors went to the team of John Fugate, Collin Moskal, John Williams, and Steve Best. Even in the harshest of conditions, they managed to post an incredible 53 (-19). For their efforts they each took home a gift basket valued at $100 from the Knoxville Chocolate Company, an $80 gift card from Aubrey’s, a free round of golf from Three Ridges, and a limited edition YOKE Golf shirt from Meltdown Graphics.
In spite of the conditions, the tournament was still a success. Thanks to the hard work of YOKE’s board of directors, the event raised $22,500 for the ministries of YOKE, an 8% increase over last year.
“I am happy to be involved with YOKE because I’ve seen the impact the ministry has on the students we mentor, the leaders that we engage, and the schools in which we serve,” said Jim Snyder, chairman of YOKE’s Board of Directors. “We are so grateful for all of our donors and sponsors who make that ministry possible, both through the golf tournament and all year long.”
