Summer break may fly by, but we’re not wasting a minute! YOKE’s staff, interns, and volunteers are all in—bringing fun, connection, and the hope of Christ to middle school students across East Tennessee. Whether hiking mountains or playing games at school, our mission stays the same: helping students discover their identity and purpose in Christ through fun, welcoming, and life-changing experiences.

Here’s a look at what’s happening this summer:

🌄 1. Summer Adventures are back!
From hiking scenic trails to conquering whitewater rapids, students are stepping out of their comfort zones and into unforgettable experiences. These day trips build confidence, create new friendships, and open doors for kids to hear and see the Good News in action.

🏫 2. Summer School Fun!
We’re teaming up with Vine, Holston, Whittle Springs, and Northwest Middle Schools in Knox County—and even the Boys and Girls Club in White Pine—to bring some joy to summer school. Through games, mentorship, and meaningful conversations, students are finding encouragement right where they are.

3. The Best Camp Ever!
Once again, we’re partnering with Camp BaYoCa to host an epic week of middle school camp! YOKE Folk serve as counselors, our staff leads crazy-fun evening events like Chug and Crush, and together we create space for students to encounter Jesus and grow in faith.

🎉 4. Local Fun in Every Community
Our area directors are planning special events close to home, making it easy for more students to join in. Whether it’s a cookout, pool party, or community service project, these local gatherings help build deeper connections and lasting impact.

None of this would be possible without your prayers and support—thank you for being part of the YOKE family!
