When you give to YOKE, you might never know how far that impact will reach. Each year YOKE recruits hundreds of volunteers, known as YOKE Folk, and equips them for a lifetime of ministry, in their neighborhoods and around the world. This summer, many of our YOKE Folk, and even some of our staff, had the opportunity to apply the training and experience that they’ve gained through YOKE in a cross-cultural context. And yes, in some cases, even Mountain Dew and shaving cream were involved. Ecuador, Guatemala, Nepal, Nicaragua, Poland, and South Africa are just a few of the places that YOKE had an impact this summer through the ministry of our amazing YOKE Folk. Some of their pictures are below – hover over each picture for a brief description.
