YOKE Club meets on Tuesdays at 7-8:00 pm in the cafeteria of Halls Middle School.

Halls YOKE had a great year this past year and they are so excited to get everyone back and meet new kids this year!  As they say…HALLS HAS IT!  And what do they have?  Great clubs, great leaders, and great kids!

“The highlight of this year for me was connecting with Natalie and Jillian (Nat and Jillybean!).  I was so thankful for their willingness to open up to me at club and camp.  They are always so full of joy and excitement.  They could have been having a horrible day but they’d still show up at club overflowing with joy!!  That was so encouraging to me.  They kept me going!  Sometimes I think I learned more from them than they learned from me” says Haley Hood, one of our Halls YOKE Folk.

Grant Goins, another  YOKE Folk shares that ” I am always looking for ways to get out of my comfort zone…I’ve always struggled interacting with anyone under the age of 14…so YOKE definitely challenged me to get out there and do something I’m not comfortable with.    It also gave me my first experience of doing a “lesson/talk” and just overall helped me to grow in my own faith in my Senior year of high school.  It’s been a blessing and I look forward to more years to come!”

Halls started several new traditions this year that will probably live on for several more years!   Things like weekly dinners before club at area fast food places, camp, Chug N Crush, and a spring break water balloon fight, there is a lot to look forward to.

Please pray for our Halls team as they minister to the kids and families of Halls Middle School.  What are things you can do to support Halls YOKE?

  • Pray for their ability to minister to the kids who come to club
  • Pray for new leaders to join the team and help serve; maybe you can be a YOKE Folk!
  • Help with camper scholarships for camp
