What does success look like at YOKE? When working with middle school students, it can be difficult to measure the impact you’re having on their lives. For us, the biggest indicator of success is the number of YOKE Kids who grow up to become YOKE Folk. The students we serve today are the leaders of tomorrow. That’s why YOKE started our Future Folk program.
Future Folk is YOKE’s leadership development program open to any high school student, regardless of prior YOKE experience. Future Folk enjoy all the fun and community that YOKE Clubs offer, while also learning how to plan and lead YOKE activities and grow in their relationship with Jesus. It’s a great way for high school students to stay connected with the ministry that meant so much to them in middle school.
Here’s what some of this year’s Future Folk had to say about their experience:
If you or a student you know is heading into high school this fall and would like to stay connected to YOKE, we’d love to hear from you! For more information about serving as a Future Folk for the 2020-2021 school year, you can click here to learn more and fill out our online application.
