26 teams competed in the tournament this year, with a morning flight teeing off at 8:30 and an afternoon flight at 1:30. Teams from both the morning and afternoon flights enjoyed a fantastic lunch, smoked on-site by the Shafer Insurance team. The team from Pugh & Company, captained by Michael Harvey took home top honors with a low score of 54, but the team lead by Andy Arendt, afternoon winners, came in right on their heels with a 55.
The tournament, now in its second year, raised nearly $20,000 for the ministries of YOKE, an 18% increase over last year.
“I support YOKE because I’ve seen the difference that the ministry makes in the lives of young people,” said Jim Snyder, chairman of YOKE’s Board of Directors. “We are very grateful for all who supported YOKE through the tournament this year and we’re already working to make next year’s tournament even better.”
