Double Your Impact This Month!
As we’ve shared with you, the last three years have been a time of tremendous growth at YOKE. Our board has more than doubled in size and our budget has increased by 15% allowing us to add staff, increase the number of schools that we serve, and reach more students than ever before. In addition, we’ve been able to share YOKE’s model of ministry on a national scale and we’re helping local organizations launch similar ministries in places like Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas. Generous partners like you help make all this possible.
Since March, our ministry has looked very different, but we’re still working hard to connect with kids across the six counties that we serve. Our increased social media presence, including YOKE Talks, worship songs, and skits on YouTube and our nightly YOKE Live on Instagram has resulted in more than 25,000 engagements. And this month we’re beginning to reconnect with kids in a more personal way through a modified version of our Summer Adventures program.
Like many of you, the Covid-19 pandemic has challenged us to think outside the box and stretched us financially. Our year-to-date giving is down by nearly $60,000 at a time when we’re not thinking of simply maintaining our ministry, but rather, gaining new ground. Thankfully, there is a way that you can help.
An anonymous donor who believes in our mission has generously offered to match all financial gifts made to YOKE in the month of June, up to a total of $25,000. This month, every dollar you invest in our ministry will be doubled! $50 becomes $100, $5,000 becomes $10,000, and an investment of $25,000 becomes $50,000 toward the life-changing ministry of YOKE.
